Nancy Gordon graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design (Ohio) with a BFA.  She always wanted to be a children illustrator, but when she graduated from college she looked for a job that needed an illustrator, but none were to be found.

She landed a job in the textile industry creating wall covering design and loved it. Nancy has also worked for a greeting card company creating card and wrapping paper designs. She has also done freelance work creating children’s designs on fabrics, beach towels, wall covering and children’s clothing.

Nancy has enjoyed a variety of venues in her art, but her favorites have been the times she created designs for children, in greeting cards, schoolbooks, and notebooks.

Nancy says, “You have such an unending and imaginable journey through paint and paper.  A journey that you hope will never end and will always bring a smile on the face of a child.”
