FaithFunder – an attempt to offer free Bible quilt blocks

Creation Bible Quilt

A crayon-colored Bible quilt made from The Creation Coloring Pages

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to pick and choose from many Bible story pictures for a family Bible quilt project? My goal is to offer such a collection on this web page and to make them free for making quilts or for teaching children about the Bible.

I have designed a FaithFunder project online called Free Coloring Page Downloads For Biblequilts.com to raise the funds so I can pay artists to create the pictures for downloading. Click on this link for more details on the fundraiser.

This link will take you to a tutorial I wrote several months ago on making crayon-colored Bible quilts. This can be a family project or a youth group project as children are able to trace and color the pictures for the quilt.

I like to make my quilts in the honeycomb layout to correspond with my personal business, Honeycomb Adventures Press,LLC. But the coloring page pictures are drawn as nearly square rectangles to make it easier for a beginner to sew the quilt together. Hexagon shapes are also an option.

I will be posting more about making crayon-colored quilts very soon.

I’m not good at getting out and asking for money or telling people about the FaithFunder link. It’s going to have to be a God-thing if this gets off the ground.
